£63K - £93K per annum., Belgium, UK, France or The Netherlands
- Salary: £50,000 - £62,000 / Annum
- Sector: FMCG Food & Drink
- Location: Surrey
My client is a leading British FMCG company with some very well-known consumer brands. They are looking for someone to manage their Packaging category, along with a small amount of third-party manufacturing and energy (£35m spend in total).
This is a very exciting opportunity to join a well-known company that has a very good reputation within Procurement. This person will predominantly manage the Packaging category, which for this particular business covers the following:
- Rigid plastics (tubs and lids etc)
- Flexible plastics (film etc)
- Paper packaging (outer boxes and cartons for shelf-ready packaging)
They are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of the Packaging category, and someone who knows how to work closely with factories, R&D teams and key stakeholders at all levels. Ideally this person will have managed or been part of fairly complex product introductions (new products, changes in suppliers, new trends etc) and will know about cost and value management, with a good understanding of the analytical piece.
Relationship-building and management is key in this role, as is the desire to be a part of an exciting period of growth and change. This person will come from a Manufacturing background, and will be looking for somewhere that truly values its employees and customers.
There will be a fair bit of travel required around the UK sites.
If you are interested in this role and you fit the above requirements, please don’t hesitate to apply!
